She spent the weekend in our Minnesota hotel room trying so hard to figure out how to crawl forward. She has not figured it out yet but she is trying. There was more work on that today. A couple times this weekend she did move one knee forward at separate times. She is so busy trying to figure this out that she does not want to lay on her changing table but rather turn over and get up on all fours. This happened today and luckily Emma was in the room to warn me for the 10 seconds I looked away to put something in her crib. More on our trip to Minnesota in the future...
Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you'll look back and realize they were the big things.

Time to lower the crib
After her morning nap I found her kneeling along the side of her crib with her hands on the rail looking out. We have the bumper in because a month or two ago she was getting her feet caught in the slats because she moves all over when she sleeps. One night I came in from her crying out to find both feet all the way through the slats - she was facing the wall on her tummy. We put the bumper in to try to save her from more of this problem. This morning I went in to find her sitting up with her legs under the bumper and through the slats looking out above it and giggling. She is a giggle girl the past few days. What a joy! Here she is kneeling in her crib after her nap this afternoon. She is also trying to eat the crib rail. She will put anything in her mouth she possibly can.
