Last days of summer

Yesterday was so nice in the afternoon that Emma, Katherine and I went outside to sit and play. Katherine loves to watch her big sister, and will turn her head as fast as she can when she hears Emma's voice. And she is captivated by cars or trucks driving by.

Yesterday morning Emma wanted Katherine to listen to her TJ Bear which tells a story and has a book for Emma to follow along with. Katherine likes to listen but the talking bear and moving arms excites Katherine so much she wants to be closer to the bear to touch, of course. Emma had her first taste of what it is going to be like once Katherine starts really crawling. She did not like that Katherine was going for the bear.
