Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you'll look back and realize they were the big things.

Other photos I have been holding out on...

Ready, Set...Go!

So hard to get 2 girls to smile at the same time. Enjoying the spring time weather we had last week.

Last day of a 7 week Gymnastics class. She had a great time.

A First for Emma

I am a procrastinator lately with the blogging. This happened last Thursday, April 14 while eating dinner. She was so excited! She would now be on the list at school, the first one for April, her name would be read during announcements, and best of all the Tooth Fairy would come. She had no idea though what the Tooth Fairy brings. We could have given her anything and she would have been happy. She noticed it was loose on Sunday or Monday of last week. It didn't take long for it to come out. The dentist told us at the end of January her two bottom teeth were loose - not that loose yet, I guess. Katherine wanted in on the cheese photo. She actually tried to see if her teeth were loose. I don't think she knew what she was looking for but she had her fingers in her mouth touching her teeth.

"I want my Mommy!"

Last week Ethan had his first two days off in a row in over 6 weeks. You would think the girls would love it and be so glad that Daddy is home and can help. Especially when they tell me out of the blue "I miss Daddy". So Ethan is home, I come home from helping at school and have to leave to take Emma to gymnastics. I thought Katherine would be just fine...instead she threw herself on the kitchen floor and bawled for Mommy. Here is a short snippet of what Ethan could catch ....near the end of the crying fit.

Time to go to the zoo...

Today was Ethan's first weekend home with us in over 6 weeks. Yeah! We decided to celebrate with a trip to the zoo. We have not been there since Fall. It was a little chilly but we enjoyed all the animals we saw and the fresh air. We actually saw 2 red pandas! We couldn't believe it because we thought there was only 1 and almost every time in the summer you never see the red panda during the day. And we fed the giraffes. It was an enjoyable morning.

Look closely - the female has her neck over the male.

Katherine being cute!

Starting to look like spring again...

Thursday was a nice afternoon- not sure of the temperatures - I think low 50s. Nice enough that the girls enjoyed their bikes for the first time this spring and the first chalk of spring. As you can see Emma is twice the size of her bike and will be needing a new one this spring. Katherine fits on this little bike and fits perfectly on the big wheel. It won't be long, and I think she will be riding the bike.

A new Prince to the Princesses

Last Friday we traveled to Germantown to visit some friends who recently had a little boy. So now between the 6 of us there are 6 girls and 1 boy - the new Prince to all the Princesses. We try to get together with these friends at least twice a year if not more. The girls all have fun together considering they are all close in age - 5, 4, 3 x2, 2, 1, and now Gavin. Welcome to the clan Gavin! Here are some photos from the day.
