WPS Kids' Run 2011

Saturday, May 14 was the WPS Kids' Run as part of the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon race weekend. It was Katherine's first official run. She couldn't wait to "run fast". She was so excited to run with us without a stroller. She did great! She ran pretty much the entire .62 miles - in and around Lambeau Field. She did stop to comment on the truck outside the loading dock as we came out of the tunnel. When she crossed the finish line the smile on her face was electrifying and so proud.

Ethan and Emma were in our wave as well but far ahead of us. It worked out well because he was able to snap photos of both girls and catch Katherine's smile at the finish. Emma did a good job running as well. Ethan's comment was "Wow, she is getting faster". I guess she had bursts of speed that he was not expecting.
