Our First Grader!

Well, its about time that I post something on my blog. This has been quite the absence for me...I am hopeful that I will catch you up a bit on our summer fun and keep up to date.

For now...
Here is Emma on her first day of first grade. Wow! I can't believe she is really in first grade. This year we did not walk her in to school, and I actually teared up when she went in. I think first grade seems so much more real than Kindergarten. She is doing well. She likes her teacher and seems to be having many "highs" and not very many "lows". Highs and lows are something we ask her at the dinner table to find out more about her day. She is in a multiage class which means it is a mixed class of first and second graders. Here are photos of her first morning.
